Mother's day 2016
Was practicing sharpening on the Tormek to get my daughter's lathe tools ready for her to play with this weekend and decided to goof of a little. With a piece of scrap from another project I turned a rough cylinder and started playing with it, no real plan, just practicing making coves and beads.
Took a break and watched Cy from Cy's Corner on YouTube, and she made some intarsia flowers for her mother's day project. I shamelessly stole the idea and came up with the little flower vase below. I did my flowers as a single piece, because I needed the project done quickly as we will be celebrating Mother's day a few days early.
Of course, now the Bride wants some flowers as well.
