just as the blade disappears into the lower box, theres a 45 degree angle plate with a slot in it that the blade passes through, The brush is fixed to that so it scrubs the inside of the bleade before it touches the wheel. theres an extraction port there as well, so the dust is sucked away.
Thanks Bob. I will check mine out maybe it has the bracket but if it doesn't I will make one to fit.

Stick486 oh...
fitted angle brackets made from Simpson framing brackets...
bolted to the machine and the brushes screwed to the bracket..
mounted so there is no play and the blade's teeth don't eat up the brush..
the brush is nothing more than a finger brush...
in fact it came w/ a bottle of orange hand cleaner...

but after all the futzing around...
what for...
seriously upgraded the DC...
now that made a difference...

Stick I am not very good at explaining myself. I was wanting how others have attached brushes to the machine. Like glue screws or what ever. I could figure it out but sometimes ( well maybe all the time) I get better ideas from others. Also I am lazy.

Another band saw question.

I have Grizzly 14" BS and was wondering how to attach and where to install a brush to somewhat clean the blade
