Actually, all the pieces were cut at the same time. And, the backs, sides and seats were all assembled at the same time.
All that remains is tuning the through tenons and final assembly of the second one.
I am slow. I'll take me awhile.

I don't know how far you are on the second build, but as you move along i'd be curious to know if you would change your mind and build 2 at the same time instead of one after the other. I could see doing them concurrently as it would save on the set-up--but on the other hand keeping the parts in order for 2 would be more than twice as hard for me!!

We'll wait for an answer--however long it takes!!

DesertRatTom Gorgeous and pretty ambitious project. I think I saw one built on one of the woodworking shows and they had a couple of tricks to handle the spindles. Would love to see a few in progress photos of the second chair, especially the details.
