That's another problem we have in California. Much of our rainfall just flows out to sea. Greenies don't want no damn dams. It will spoil the view are a few thousand visitors, so to he!! with the thirsty general population. At California gas prices, no one can afford to drive up into the mountains where the streams are anyhow.

DesertRatTom Jon, will be a couple of hours south of Seattle, mostly north an hour or two of Portland this trip. The 5 corridor I know, but I'll be using my navigator so any address you give me, I can find. Draw a circle 125-150 miles around Portland or Washington just north and I can find it. Hope a couple of folks can make it. Nice to get to meet a couple of people here. The only other member I've actually met is Mike from Detroit. Really enjoyed getting to meet him. The 25th is the day for a meet up.

Are you traveling on to Seattle or Portland, near to the I-5 corridor......? Sorry for the 20 questions, just trying to narrow the choices. Might be easier to move this off to email.

DesertRatTom Afternoon of Tuesday the 25 th, about an hour North of Portland. Can drive a couple of hours North or South from there. If you have any specific suggestions, I need to find a place to stay, and would like to get away from the coastal cities and their expensive hotel rates. I don't know where the best spot to meet is up there. Quiet place so we can hear each other would be good, and maybe food and a pie?

Tom, that sounds good and I’ve noted it on the calendar.

Given you are the traveler, it would be best if you could advise as to your pending location and hours that you would be available. With that as an anchor I/we can offer up some suggestions.

Cheers
Jon
