arnold20 hi james, it is the spirocraft base that is broken. I used super glue to mend it. seems fine but i will have to test it in the real world

Welcome to the forum, Arnold.

If your repair does not work, you might like to look at the posts on making a replacement base to suit you router.

arnold20 thanks Mike, i used super glue it seems fine. i live in the caribbean and it is not very easy to order replacements it is quite costly too

Mike Arnold, I think glue is worth a try but if that doesnt work I would just order a replacement.

milescraft inlay kit

i recently bought an inlay kit (milescraft) the base plate is broken. Will a good glue mend it strong enough? If i back it with a thin sheet of plywood, would i be affecting the performance negatively
