Shells I have the same set. How thick is the table? The leveling system will take up to 1-1/2 inches thick table. If your table is not as thick, maybe a frame a few inches wide (made out of something more solid - opening the same size as on your table) and attached to the underside via the outer holes with longer screws? You could trace the current opening, transfer the marks and cut with jig saw to make a frame

Kreg router plate leveling system

I have just about completed the new router table. I purchased the jessum master lift 2 and the 3 1/4 hp PC router motor along with the leveling kit from Woodcrafter. I have already built the table top and routered the hole for the plate. I started to assemble and mount the plate using the kreg leveling kit which was recommended by Woodcraft. I have discovered that the entire router, lift and plate are held onto the bottom of the table by 12 pan head sheet metal screws. To me this doesn't seem adequate for this heavy of a unit. Has anybody had experience with this leveling system ? Twelve screws into MDF doesn't seem adequate due to the lack of the plate sitting in a rabbited recess to support the plate.
