bobj3 Hi Raymond

At one time I was a OLD Tool collector and Sandor Nagyszalanczy is one also.

You may want to read the links below.

sandor nagyszalanczy on p-c router history

I'm diving in without checking the archives on this point, so forgive me if I'm covering old territory.

Yesterday my used copy of sandor nagyszalanczy's "power tools" taunton 2001 arrived in the mail and was a little surprised to encounter sandor's -- his first name, thank god, is much easier than his last -- claim about the porter-cable router dating back to 1906.

A google search didn't bring up much more than a brief few paragraphs on a website not familiar to me, called, I think, insiderforums.

Whatever, I interested in finding out what members of this forum know about the claims in this book.

Sincerely

Raymond McInnis
