Default New Cowboy - All Painted Up

Hi all hope everyone is have a nice weekend! Here is my latest carving project. This one is a little more on the realistic side vs caricature. It was carved from a roughout. It's basswood and about 7 1/2 inches on it's base. Ready for the paint shop. Thanks as always for looking!

Thank you Bob, he was a fun one to do but as you know these things have a way of ending up in the fireplace and I was glad to bring this one to the end ok. Glad you like him.

Thanks guys I appreciate it. A little different style of carving. I had an idea of the type of face I was wanting.. I kept thinking Jock Ewing from the old Dallas show. Turned out a little more grizzled than Jock but probably what Jock would have looked like if he had been through what this old boy has
Thanks again,

Corey
