Default Carved Bottle Stopper.

Here is a bottle stopper I carved today. It's 1 1/2 x 3 and in the Pete LeClair style of caricature. Finished with tinted oil and satin lacquer. First time carving and open mouth like that and teeth.
Thanks for looking as always,

corey

Hi Corey,

Another winner for the gallery. The detail is awesome and with a look like that, I would think he makes a good bottle guard as well as a stopper

Nice job as always!

Another gem Corey. I was thinking of you a couple of hours ago after receiving an email from former member Charlie DeGreeff in France. He had spent time in a forest this afternoon, here is part of what he said
"spent a couple of hours in the forest mostly sat on a tree stump wittling away with a bowie knife I cannot tell you how therepeutic wittling is in a world of my own "
I wondered if you find it a similar experience Corey.

Hi Harry thanks. Absolutely Harry. I just forget about the world when I am sitting carving in my shop. I can sit and carve and 3-4 hours have gone buy. I will stand up and stretch... say wow, I got to piss.... go say hello to the family and back to my cave. I am only more relaxed when i am sleeping!

Thanks Harry,
Corey

Corey, your carving is continually improving. That is one great looking piece. The teeth are awesome.
