Default My Second Burn

Been a busy day playing with my new toy . .er . . burner. .
This one was more of a challenge for the simple reason I don't know what I am doing yet. I am still using the same tip that came on my pen for everything I have done so far.

My local library has one copy of Pyrography Workshop by Sue Walters . It is out on loan but due back on the 8th of December if it comes back in time. They have no other books on pyrography at all but I have heard that is a good one. I really need help on what tips to use for what and how to use them.

This is a pattern I found on line by Gary Crosby. I am having a problem finding good patterns and I am no good at making them myself. Tried that years ago and never got anywhere with it. ..

I will probably take a time out from burning now while I prepare some wood and review the book when it is available. .

This is another scrap of wood to practice on so that is why there is a nail hole in one tooth and another one way over on the left side. .

Looking much improved Bill.

In woodworking there is no scrap, only firewood.
