Default Pyrography on cork

How successful would it be to burn onto cork?
I have a packet of cork floor tiles which I use to face my cramps (very successful too).
Obviously the best way is to experiment but are there any tricks of the trade?

Since this is an old post, you probably already know the answer about burning on cork. It works very well.
