Default Clocks

Hi everyone, I haven't been here in a very long time. I was going to school for over a year and didn't have any time to create new work. Well, I'm back at it now.

I made many signs, I won't post them because I don't want to bore all you with them.

I purchased some basswood from a local mill, and I decided to try my hand a clock making. The wood was 1 1/4" thick 6 1/2" wide, thought this is a good size for some clocks. I had some old carving knives, so took a shot at it.

I have a lot to learn, and the most inportant thing I found out is the tips must be very sharp for less work and better carving.

Here are two clocks that are finished.

Thank you for viewing, and have a good day.

Karen

Nice work Karen. You could never bore us on this forum. We're always interested in what others are making.

Today is the first day of the rest of your life. Live it to it's fullest.

I make a LOT of signs, and sell them. If you would like to see my most recent ones, let me know, I'll post them.
