Default Needing detailing nibs for Wetekom burner

Hello all!
I am new to the site, not new to pyrography, but had a very frustrating day of work due to my new Wetekom burning unit. I have previously burned out my old solid head burner and thought that I should invest in a more professional tool.
I have found the nibs that come with this Wetekom unit are messy clumsy and making a dogs dinner of my fine drawings on wood and making my drawings look amateur!
I have spent vast time searching the net for some nibs which will enable me to do detail and delicate work.
I see many folks make their own tips, but I am unsure if i can or how I would do this.

If anyone can save my tears of frustration I would be very grateful.
P.S I am in the United Kingdom

Thanks for any help

Becky

Hi Becky and welcome to the forum. I've moved your post from introductions to the Pyrography and Carving section in hopes someone who can answer your question will be more likely to see it.

Someone I consider a master woodworker once told me that a master woodworker is not someone who never makes mistakes. He is someone who is able to cover them up so that no one can tell.

Welcome to the forum, Becky.

Could you amend your profile to show UK instead of USA?

Welcome, Becky. I don't know anything about pyrography, but I had to tell you that I appreciate a new phrase to use (making a dogs dinner of). I'd never heard that before, and I'll use it on my sons. Jim
