Default First Miniature Carving.....

Hi all. Yesterday I carved my first miniature caricature. This one is carved in basswood that is 1 inch square and 2 inches tall. In many ways I think this one was my best despite the small size. Definitely a challenge but I liked doing this little guy. This is the first time I did not carve from a sawn out blank. Just drawn on the block. Thanks for looking.

Corey

Hi Corey

A great job as usual. To me, they are "all the best", I would be hard pressed to pick a favorite out of all the carvings you have done.

That little guy looks like me in the morning before my first coffee. Good grief, I thought I was looking in a mirror.

Great job!

John
