Default Ryobi R-600 Plunge Router

Last year I found a replacement variable speed control for my Ryobi R-600 plunge router. It was not from a Ryobi dealer. It was a complete replacement turn knob and wiring. Does anyone have an idea where I may find this item? I came upon it by chance, and now after a computer crash, I have lost the info. Thanks for the help....BigD1

Thanks for the reply. I found a new in the box Ryobi RE-600 Router. I should get it this week. I paid $125.00 total price, I hope it is a good one. I've had mind since 1993. It has been a great tool. I believe the replacement switch was around $120.00. Thanks...Don

Yikes! Good call on just replacing the whole router, BigD.

Ok....I did purchase the New in Box Ryobi RE-600 3 H.P. Plunge Router. What I found was, a router that has no variable speed control that works. So, I'm back to square one in the world of routers. The seller says, "It was new in box." So now I'm in a settlement. So, I now have two routers that do the very same thing. I will see if I can cut some wires, get rid of the soft start, buy a speed control, and just move on. Very nice router, and yes, it is brand new. Since I believe this router has not been made for awhile, I wonder where it has been sitting.....only the shadow knows, or perhaps the seller. He will not share this info with me.
So, I have a new router...I like my new router...I'll use my new router...thank you (seller) for my router...I got a deal on my router...not sure who lost....BigD1 or the seller.
