Default Halloween Pumpkin

My sweetie found a craft project and asked me to make her a pumpkin. OK.

It is just scrap 2x4 cutoffs glued together and painted orange. I made a stem from a piece of scrap wood and nailed it to the top.

Some of the 2x's are from a pallet board. I ran all of the pieces across the jointer on two sides and one edge. Then I glued them together. After it dried, I hit all the edges with a sander just to knock off the edge.

It is ready for her to do any decorating she wants to add.

Now she's got to paint a face on it.

How much trouble would it be to round the edges on a band saw?

Huh, never thought of doing it that way, just used a chunk of plywood.
