Default Quick and easy Christmas shelf hanger idea

Pick the character or object you want (maybe a Christmas tree, an elf or a reindeer), cut it on a scroll saw, attach something to hang over the edge, add a little support piece in the back and you’ll have an instant little shelf decoration. This is one of those half hour projects that will give you a lot of brownie points. Mine is sitting on top of our TV for the holidays. Hmmm, this has possibilities I hadn’t considered, like making detachable hats so they can change with the season — New Years, Mardi Gras, 4th of July, St. Pat’s Day and more.

Now THAT is down right cute. I'd have to make one a little shaggier to match Henry.
