Default Another stripes plaque

Had an order for another stripes plaque in Walnut and Maple. This one is an SFC Stripe, about 12" x 18", finished in Nitrocellulose lacquer.

And for a size comparison here it is in front of the guitar I recently built -

Good show. And there's room to add text in the middle -- name, service dates, combat dates, life dates, anything they wanted.

Thanks, John! I believe they're engraving that center section today using the laser, or that was the plan yesterday. They talked about putting a brass plate on it but that was still up in the air.

To me looks like about enough room to put down all my assignments, with dates, and that's about it. I would say name, rank (a ton of people don't know what rank that is, or which service), and service dates would be sufficient. Much more and the lettering would be too small to read at any difference.

Just when is it I can expect mine?

Just how old are you? I enlisted in early 1960, and Tech Sergeants were long gone by then. Plus they had a T in the center. WWII rank.

I was in the Army in the early 60's and was an E-5, Specialist 5th class, but we still had all the line ranks Sargent, Staff Sargent, SFC ,Master Sargent, and 1st Sargent ,Command Sargent (new) and Sargent Major.
