BTW...

I should have added that I considered "Burning" each end of the tops. This would really exaggerate the illusion of a weave. I've done it with veneers and its worked out really well but this I wasn't too sure how much the sanding down and leveling process would wipe it out and maybe leave some with and other pieces without the burn.
