Three projects complete! My wife saw a picture of a holder for the plastic Solo cups, complete with a hole for the marking pen so you can write your name on the cup. I want one of these for our bar. OK. Boy, that was easy. No trips to the lumber yard or anything. Just rip and cut, glue and nail the pieces together. I had some thin Baltic birch plywood that I used for the bottom. Routed the edges with a small roundover and flush trimmed the bottom. And I drilled a hole for the Sharpie!
Next up, two more cutting boards. One is for my son who asked if I would make one for him so he could give it to his sister for Christmas. OK. Done Deal.
And the last one. A long time fishing buddy is a guitar picker from way back so I decided to make him a cutting board in the shape of a guitar. It will be a total surprise when he gets it and I doubt if it will ever get cut on!
Walnut and Cherry for both of the boards.
