Default Santa's workshop: Candle Holders

More gifts for Christmas.

I made a number of these last year for our Thanksgiving Dinner (about 30 guests) and they were a big hit. Was going to give them to people but wife vetoed that plan - "I want these for us". Got several requests for them so had to crank out a few more this year.

They are fairly easy to make and with some simplifications is a good beginner project. These are made out of Jatoba (aka Brazilian Cherry) but any decent hardwood will do. I especially think Walnut would be great. I'll post plans in a little bit.

Cool idea.

If you used a jig to make these it would be nice to include plans of the jig when you post plans for the candle holders. Also THANK YOU for posting a project that doesn't take a lot of time and is for woodworkers new to using a router.
