Just a quick update on the event plans... Rick Rosendahl of the Router Workshop will be on a live Skype chat to answer questions. This is a hands on event, bring your safety glasses and hearing protection. We will have several routers for people to try. Dust collection is important for your health as well as reducing clean up. See for yourself how the VacGuard performs then build one from the free plan. Check out the Betterley Tools Stacc-Vac, a professional dust collection accessory used by the Pro's. There will be door prizes from Pat Warner, Marc Sommerfeld and Infinity tools. Come and meet James Wade our Official Greeter from Australia. Hope to see you there!

(Bump)

I need to see my sister and if it happens around that time I'll try to sneak in for the day.

I just got the word from a Porter Cable Rep; there will be special discounts on PC items at the event. We will be testing Trend's Tool and Bit cleaner to see how well it works. I will be demonstrating the Trend T4 router and VariJig. See the Bosch MRC23EVSK in action and try it yourself. More surprises in store so please join us.

Thanks for making this happen Mike. Matt and his crew are great folks there. I've marked this day on the calender. Hopefully loml will be healthy enough for me to participate.

jlord,
Are you going to attend the International Sawdust Seminar? I live in Ventura, maybe we could travel together? Let me know, please.

The door prizes have started arriving and I must say I am very jealous since I am not eligible for them. Bosch is supporting the event and sent some of their high quality safety glasses, a very nice pullover jacket and a hat that I really like.(Maybe I can do some horse trading with who ever wins it?) Infinity tools sent a really nice bit set; we will also be testing a couple of their bits at the event. Woodsmith sent a DVD with issues 1-200 on it, a really great set of plans! They also sent a set of DVD's of the show Woodsmith shop. I like their plans and watch the show which is filled with great tips. Marc Sommerfeld sent the 10 DVD set of his instructional videos; they are filled with good ideas and methods Marc has developed over the years. There are more surprises in store.

I can not thank our sponsors enough for their participation. They are all going the extra step to support and promote woodworking and I hope you will give them consideration when making future purchases.
