WoodWorks Show in Richmond, VA
This weekend was my first trip to a WoodWorks show. I usually try to go to TheWoodworkingShow in Chantilly, VA, but my schedule has had me busy in March the past few years. I did the Baltimore show last year, which wasn't bad, and thought I'd try the WoodWorks show when it came to Richmond this year.
With all the advertising for this woodworking show, I was expecting a lot. Unfortunately, I don't think it lived up to it's billing. It was nice to meet Frank Klausz and Glen Huey, and watch their demonstrations, but that was the only plus of this show.
The exhibitors were about half as many as at TheWoodworkingShows, and there really weren't any must have deals, except maybe at the WoodlineUSA table.
There were a lot more classes/seminars available at this show than some of the others I've been to, but at $65 to $95 a pop, that can get a little expensive quick.
Anyway, I probably won't be making the trek back to this show next time around, unless they promise more vendors.
