I mounted the base on the little DeWalt compact Router (DW611) plunge base. I had to drill one hole in order for the holes to line up.

I might add that I haven't taken it off. I like the fact the base is larger than the factory DeWalt base plate.

That's my story and I'm stickin' to it!

Hi and welcome. It's not uncommon to have to drill one or more holes in after market plates. Lots of older stuff came drilled for either PC or Bosch but often not anything else.

Someone I consider a master woodworker once told me that a master woodworker is not someone who never makes mistakes. He is someone who is able to cover them up so that no one can tell.

Mine is mounted on a Bosch Colt. If 2 holes line up--that is enough to hold, or mark/drill a third. Like Mike--I just keep that mounted to the base plate.
