Default Old Sign and scroll saw ideas

Here are a couple of old publications that could be interesting for sign makers and scroll saw folks. You can read them online or download a pdf. Although they are old they can still jump-start some ideas. Click on the titles to go to the links.

Strong's Book of Designs (1917) Lots of shapes and some interesting fret work patterns.

The signist; a compilation of the most modern and artistic designs, valuable to sign writers, draughtsmen, designers, architects, engravers, etc. (1903)

Ooooo, really like the first one, but saved both. Thanks.

Call me a craftsman, artisan, or artistic, and I will accept that. Call me an artist and you will likely get a quite rude comment in return. I am not a @#$%ing artist.
