Hey, Rebecca; welcome!

Lots of sign crafters here, unfortunately I'm not one of them.

We're glad you decided to join Rebecca.

Someone I consider a master woodworker once told me that a master woodworker is not someone who never makes mistakes. He is someone who is able to cover them up so that no one can tell.

Welcome to the forum, Rebecca.

I would guess that most script is done free hand or by CNC.

PS, I have moved your post to the sign making section of the forum.

Check out Dave's videos

lot of tips on freehand routing, you will probably have to use a script font from MS Word or a similar program.

Welcome, this is a great bunch of folks who love to help. I found one method on Youtube for freehand sign routing that looks like it would apply to you. You may already be beyond this, but it looks like the method would apply to more intricate script fonts than the one shown here. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nlGzCIN8vs8
