Default Graduation Present

I made this for a co-worker for her daughter's graduation from college. I reverse printed everything and then applied it to the board using the photo transfer technique.

I used Poplar for this one. Have one more to do in Poplar then I'm finished with that material. It is NOT my favorite wood to carve.

1st pic - Reverse printed images applied to board
2nd and 3rd pics - Carving started. I covered her picture on the board so I wouldn't scratch it with my router base.
4th pic - Carving complete. Ready for hand painting with crafter's acrylic paint.....the cheap stuff from WalMart.
5th pic - Finished with 4 coats of Krylon clear coat.

Thanks guys. I get to put a jingle in pocket for this one. I charged her $30 for this one. Y'all think that's too much?
