Default The Joy of Giving

A good friend and his wife are celebrating their 39th wedding anniversary this weekend. I had a few minutes today so I made them a sign.

It seems I tend to give away almost as many as I sell......and I like giving them away when I can. Especially for special occasions.

Do you, or did you guys go through a phase of giving your work away? I'm looking at it as practice boards for when I retire from my regular job and start carving full time for myself.

I enjoy surprising my friends with things I have made. When they request specific items I quote prices.

Hi, Frankj3.

I have done this several times before because, until now, woodworking is a hobby for me. Perhaps, after my retirement I´ll consider to sell my kitchen cabinets.

Nice sign!!!

We, woodworkers are everywhere!!!
