Smile Tools From Across The Holler'

One day last week I was out lookin' for two of our dogs that like to roam. As I was out lookin' on the other side of the Holler' and turned around and started back to the house, one of my neighbors was sitting out on his porch so pulled in and asked him if he seen em'. He said no and some how the subject of woodworking came up and proceeded to tell him about my sign making. After some time into the conversation he told me he just sold some of his woodworking tools. But told me he still had some routers buried some where along with a router table and some other tools he was wanting to get rid of.

Well me and the nephew ( Garrett ) went back over the other day to see if he had a chance to dig em' out yet' and he loaded us up. ( Craftsman Router Table, Craftsman Router 1/4" Shank, Ryobi R160 Router 1/4" shank, An Old ATG 1/2" Shank Router, Craftsman Rotary Tool, Craftsman 2/5 Hp 3 5/8" Electric Hand Planer, Dremel Moto-Lathe, Ryobi Detail Sander, Various other tools and still have to go out the road to his Son's to pick up another 12" Planer to go along with my other 12" Foley Belsaw Planer.) All for a whoppin' ; " Hold on to your britches. $75.00."

Just happened to have some of my signs with me and his wife just came home from her shop and seen em' and was just in awe over em'. Told me if I wanted to sell any of em' she would put them in her shop; "Antiques, Primitive, Craft Mall" for me. So talk about tools and a leg in. This Ol' Boy couldn't be happier.

"...some how the subject of woodworking came up"

BobbyLee - that line made me laugh - great find on the tools and the "in" for the shop.

"Great" Looks like you hit pay dirt. You and Garrett will be having lots of fun.

I am kinda surprised, I thought you might be from Tennessee. I bet you have at least passed through Tennessee.

That DeWalt with the aftermarket base plate was worth the $75. You got the rest for free.
