Mark, are you being politically correct in calling Christmas "holiday"

I am not of the Christian faith but am in no way offended by calling Christmas Christmas and in fact receive plenty of Christmas cards wishing my wife and I a happy, merry Christmas.

Yes, a couple years ago we called the "Holiday Season", "Christmas" it actually didn't go well with some users so it's best to keep it more general

I can only hope that those members who are offended by this forthcoming religious period being called Christmas will stand up and be counted.

Hi Harry,

This is what happens when politics gets involved into everything. I personally don't and never did have a problem with it being, "Merry Christmas" & "Happy New Year". But, again, to be "politically correct", it's now called, "happy holidays". Anymore I just say, "Bah Humbug!!"

Sorry, you can be as politically correct as you want, it will never change for me.

Merry Christmas everyone. And have a safe and Happy New Year.

They all tell me I am not politically correct and guess I never will be. To late to change this old farm boy now.

Merry Christmas to all and have a Happy, safe, healthy New Years.

It appears that this has become the thread where we wish Season's Greetings to our friends and fellow woodworkers. All I know is that you cannot have "Happy Holidays" without the root days of "Christmas and New Years".

I therefore wish everyone......

Merry Christmas and a most Happy New Year
