How do you search for a Forum topics? I have tried the Google search box and get a page of everything and nothing about what I type in.

go to TOOLS > ADVANCED SEARCH....
read every block carefully...
how far back you want/need too go is important...

This would have been the week that I'd have finished chewing thru the restraints...

Herb, you have to realize that Stick is not real. Not a person, but a creation beyond comprehension. Stick is an acronym for "Special Transfer of Ingrained Cultural Knowledge. This is not to be questioned.

If you know that something got posted as the start of a thread and who started the thread there is a way to find that too. Click on the person's user name, go to their profile, click on Statistics on a tool bar in the middle of the page, and then click on threads started by that person. I know that you posted a year or two ago about some mallets you made for your woodworking group so I would just look back through those threads you started until I found with with key words that matched what I can remember. Even someone who has as many posts as Stick hasn't started that many threads so I could search through those until I found something specific.

Someone I consider a master woodworker once told me that a master woodworker is not someone who never makes mistakes. He is someone who is able to cover them up so that no one can tell.
