Default How to create your first Album

Sorry but I am confused as to how to create an Album so I can post my projects.

I have read the FAQ and it states that I go into my USer CP and click on PIctures. It also states to look up top next to the FAQ but I do not see this.

WHat I am missing ?

HI TRN

Every time you post/upload a picture it will go into your Album/Gallery it's setup as a default folder for you..

I am still at a lost because in the FAQ it states, "How do I upload pictures?

Once you've created an album you can upload images to it. Simply view the album and click on 'Upload Pictures'.

From what I read here it says I need to create an album first prior to uploading pictures to it?

I am very new to forums so please be patient with me.

Thanks

Question Requesting A Gallery

Hey Dan, If I recall corrctly you must first "request a gallery" under Router Forums/ "Show "n Tell" / "members Gallerys" / at the bottom find / Mark / write a PM to him requesting a gallery He will respond saying name that gallery! You are set up. Then "start a new thread" it will ask you for a title of the thread and the wording, then you /manage attachments/browse your computer under my photos in Windows XP/ highlight a photo /it will load in on the first line/ and ask for the next photo/ then..Important!/upload photos! and wait until that screen refreshes. then view your thread......I may have forgotten something but that's the basic idea...rather long and drawn out Ithink and not necessarily in a common sense manner, but it does work.
You might have to have 10 posts before you are eligible for a gallery as well, not sure. You have 19 so you're good. It's been a while, but this should all be covered under FAQ's if not, keep trying, we'll get you thru it! Bill

OK guys. Lets keep this simple. From what I can tell, all Dan wants to do is post pictures of his projects. If that is the case... forget the FAQ and Gallery stuff. All you have to do is start a thread under wherever you want to post in, say, "Show and Tell" for instance. Type in your message and if you want to attach pictures simply look below the message window in "Additional Options" under "Attach Files" and click on "Manage Attachments". A new window will appear in which you can upload your pictures (or files) to be attached to your message. Any pictures you attach to messages are saved automatically to your own personal Gallery. If you will notice... to the left of this post is a box that reads "View curiousgeorge's Gallery". I have never requested a Gallery. All the pics are simply ones I have attached to posts.
