Default Why the log in problem?

Every time I attempt to open RouterrForums, or even return to an open window after a short period of time I get the following message: (I x'd out the IP address)

Your IP Address (xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx) is currently awaiting authorisation to be enabled for the user TWheels.

Please check the email address associated with your account and click the authorisation link.

Click here to re-send the verification email.

each time the IP address is different I receive an email to whivh I respond. Then I get access, but only in one browser when I would prefer to use a different browser.

Am I the only one having this problem?
This site is the only one with which I have this problem

I use macOS 10.14.5. I would prefer to use Google Chrome but Mail opens Safari

Thanks

Tom, I always view this site via my iPad using Safari and have never encountered this error. Since I don’t have a Mac, I don’t know how or if the operating systems on the Mac and iPad relate, but I have IOS 12.3.2 on my iPad.

I can't help with your problem Tom but I can tell you that you have been missed. What is your health like and has your Makita router had a run lately?

I've never had that issue, Tom. My latest OS is 10.13.6 but I doubt your OS version is the problem.

Sent from my Hallicrafters S-40 using morse code.

It looks like you had set the preference for IP verification on your account. I fixed it.

One of the many issues I've had and continue to have this year is the difficulty opening RouterForums. I don't want want to play the "poor poor pitiful me" card but I have physical, wheelchair compatible van failures, strained muscles dealing the failed van, and various financial challenges this year.

My Makita routers and my Triton router should be getting good workouts soon

@harrysin , I do hope you are doing well.

most ISP's give out dynamic IP addresses too.. you'd have to get a Business class account from your ISP to avoid that.. and specify you want a fixed IP address.. it's much easier to just not check the IP verification box, though..
