Default This has to be a problem...

For some time now I have not been able to use my iphone to access Routerforums.com because something from this site, and no other site, tells me my phone it is infected...it ONLY happens when I go to Routerforums.com

Tonight when I signed in I received the following message from my anti-virus...WIN10, Dell laptop Intel Core i7...

"We tested this page and blocked content that comes from potentially dangerous or suspicious sites. Allow this content only if you're sure it comes from safe sites."

Oh...and I have already cleared cache, temp files, history and all the other things I can clear, so please don't tell me to "clear your cache"...

I'm assuming you have and are using an ad blocker?

Someone I consider a master woodworker once told me that a master woodworker is not someone who never makes mistakes. He is someone who is able to cover them up so that no one can tell.

Yes...plus all the tightening down Firefox offers. I tightened it down even more when the ads started blocking content recently...

My guess is the ad-blocking is blocking the site and McAfee then interprets that block as "malicious".

I'm tempted to "View blocked content" but would rather not.

Tomorrow I'll look into McAfee's logs to see what site it is...

Right now I am not having that problem. I say right now because that is what happened when we had the problem with ads covering the links, it started slowly with just a few reports and within a few days, several people had the problem. They have solved the ad problem, at least I have not had it happen again for a while.

Hopefully, you figure out it is something caused by an update to your computer software or settings that got changed and it is an easy fix.
