Default malicious web page

Over the last week every time I visit the forum I get hit with a malicious web page. It takes over the browser and I have to close the browser to escape. It is always the same telling me that my anti virus is expired, it just switches between Mcaffee or Norton. I don't use either. It only happens when I am on this forum. Any suggestions?

Which browser and OS are you using, Bob? Standard questions for troubleshooting - have you cleared your cache, deleted cookies, tried a different browser, etc.?

@Admin - is there a certificate that's out of date, maybe? Or is this just an isolated issue for Bob?

Window 10, browser doesn't seem to matter. I have tried firefox, chrome, and explorer. Cache and cookies are cleared everyday. It just happened again. I have tried tracing the url, but no luck.

I use Bitdefender for security and every time I visit the site I get "Suspicious connection blocked" error messages. Attached is capture of the full message. I've had as many as 6-8 messages in a single site visit.

I don't answer them all but I look at most of the threads, I don't see any of that happen to me, my anti virus software always jumps in when anything tries to get on my system and its has been silent and has not come alive on the forum, I use Firefox with one of their pop up add blockers so I don't see any pop ups, my software boots them off. I use Adblock Plus and right now it shows 1 ad blocked. My Bitdefender also has a built in user-tracking blocker and right now it is blocking 12 tracking applications: 5 advertising, 3 site analytics, 1 customer interaction, and 3 social media (2 of which I have accounts - Pinterest and Facebook - and 1 that I do not - Twitter).

Maybe this is the price we have to pay if we expect to use the Internet for forums like this?
