Default Can I change a title after the post has been made?

Just wondering if there is a way I can edit the title of a post?

For instance, in the show and tell I have a thread that I started and went in yesterday and added a new post with more photos and the next part of my project. I would like to know if there is a way I can change the title from "My in-out box project. " to "My in-out box project. Updated with new photos".

No need for a Mod to change it, but I was just wondering if I could do it.

Hi Tim,

I believe there's a 24hr time limit on it. Give it a try first, if you can't please feel free to contact the mod team or Mark. I'm sure we can get that fixed for you.

Yeah... i posted the original message message a few days ago. I just tried again and still don't see where it could be changed. No need to change it now, I just wanted to know if it could be done.

Select "Edit" and then use the "Go Advanced" tab when changing the title. As Hamlin said, it may be locked after 24 hours and you will need a moderator to take care of it for you.

Tim,

Please let us know if you're able to "edit" your former thread. In this way, it will let others know as well, just in case others need to do so.

Well, I went and tried what Bob said to do. I was able to change the title of the message but it updates the title when reading the thread but not in the thread list.

I am glad to see the advanced options anyway.

If you are still experiencing issues with this let me know, I may be able to force a change in the thread list.

Thanks for the offer Mark but it's not that important. I was just wondering if it could be done. Now that I know it's not something I can do by myself then I will not worry about it.
