Default Slow or Non-Response

I don't come here often since I'm not a avid woodworker(YET!). In the last few days I've tried to come and navigate the forum in an effort to learn from previous posts. The forum is almost non-reponsive. I have spent as much as 15-20 minutes trying to get to a particular section of the forum or having managed that, to get to a particular thread. I don't have this problem with other forums. Can anyone give me any insight into a possible problem.

If I can't improve the performance of this forum, I will have to disappear. Just getting to the point where I could post this message took about 25 min.

So when you are attempting to load a page it takes a long time to load?

Could you tell me which ISP you are with and which state you are from?

Well! It has been almost 10 min. since I clicked on the email button with no load, so I'm using the "Quick Reply" form. My ISP is Charter Communications and I live in Tennessee(the western end)

The PM won't load. I get to the screen for Private Messages and it won't load the actual message even though it now shows "read".

On each screen that hangs up, the status at the bottom left of the screen(?) reads:
ssi.gstatic.com

I have never seen anything like this before. Is it related to my problem.

I figured it would be SSL.GSTATIC.COM. That issue has been popping up all over the web. I would suggest you contact your ISP (Internet Service Provider) and ask if they can diagnose the issue. In the mean time, I'm going to do my best to get in contact with Google and see if a solution is available.
