Talking New Videos Section!

Hey guys, just finished officially launching the new videos section. In this section you will find videos created by fellow members of the community using the content from their threads. Our plan with this is to keep constantly updating the videos section with new content every so often.

Anyway I would really like to know what everyone thinks, get some feedback about how the videos play, the idea in general and the layout / usability of this new page. If you have any criticisms like something isn't loading properly or you don't like how the page looks please post here I would really like to get any and all feedback!

To navigate to the new videos section, simply click the "Woodworking Videos" tab at the top beside "Forum Community". Or you can click the link below

Click here to see the new videos section

Big thanks to Rick and Mike for helping with the production of all the videos. Also, thanks to Harry and Mike for being the first members to try out this procedure and create the first videos!

Thanks guys!

Hi Christo

Why not just post it to YouTube then just post the link to it..
We/I post them all the time (links) after all they are to setup to take all types of formats that's a big deal the norm..

May I suggest Bob that the idea of the videos is to promote routerforums not Utube!

Hi Harry

You are right on BUT formats is a big deal, over the pond they use a dif.type and many are the pal type that's real pain to switch over but U-tube has it down and has been doing it a long time..not to say anything about the other many video formats...The one Rick is now using for the RWS net site would be real night mare on UTube site I think.." Adobe video PDF files " most would not update Adobe just to watch a video..

Most, if not all video equipment these days is compatible with both NTSC (jokingly known in the PAL world as "never the same colour twice) and our far superior PAL system Bob.
There are of course sound technical reasons why this is so.

Mark... are you planning on making allowances for video's that may be better suited for multiple 'segments' as opposed to one longggggggggggg video? Say someone were to make a video on a project from start to finish? part 1, part 2, part 3 etc.......

just a thought
