Default We need your opinion.

Harrysin offered the idea of changing Router Forums official approach to seasons greetings from "Happy Holidays" to "Merry Christmas". Originally when the community stated we supported the "Merry Christmas" greeting, but after a couple member complains we changed over to "Happy Holidays".

A lot of time has passed since we have made the change to "Happy Holidays" and I figured it would be wise to see what everyone thinks.

The purpose of this poll is for you to select which you prefer:

"Happy Holidays"
or
"Merry Christmas"

I have also added an additional option of "Indifferent", meaning you don't mind either way. Please note: All votes are private, your choice will not be shown to the public or discussed with anyone.

Also, please do not use this thread as a venue to express your distaste for one or the other, or to argue for one of the other. All that is necessary is your vote and no comments are required. Please do not turn this into a political or religious debate.

It's got be "Merry Xmas" because that's what the holiday represents. I can't imagine why anyone would complain about that tbh.

I voted Merry Christmas, but I usually wish people a Happy Christmas, as in my experience happy is more important than merry. I always wish my Jewish acquaintances a Happy Chanukah, and my Muslim acquaintances both Happy Christmas and "Ramadan mubarak" when appropriate.

Cheers,
Roger
