Default Wood Club idea

Well, I came up with another idea to improve the RouterForums.com community. I was thinking of setting up a "Wood Club's" forum for users who lead or belong to a wood club to setup their own public or private forum for their club. If the leader of the club chooses he can have a private club, which only members with the password are able to view / post in the club forum. If the leader chooses for the club forum to be public, then anyone can view / post in the club forum.

Mainly these forums are for club members and leaders to recruit new members, discuss woodworking, exchange ideas, share club news and pretty much talk about anything they feel like.

What does everyone think?

Mark, keep it as it is. You have alaready subdivided a category so that individuals can have their own discussions on projects. This site is already the best. You have made numerous changes to accomodate us. Just my opinion. -Derek

Hi Mark. I can see that you're trying to help those belonging to a club but the danger is that others might feel excluded if they can't access these "exclusive" areas. An open forum shouldn't stop people recruiting for their club if that's what they want to do.

I've cut it twice and it's still too short! But only at one end.

Mark,

I am in agreement with everyone else as far as not having new private forum but... I would be interested in joining a club if I new where one was near me. I think there is only one club listed in "links". So maybe a category where someone could post info on their club or how to start one would be nice.
