Default Spotty thread updates

I rarely receive thread updates on threads that i have subscribed to in my mail account. Once in a blue moon I will receive several and then none for months. Why?

This is the first I have heard of this happening Marcel. I will attempt to find out... expect it to take a couple days for an answer.

I have been receiving updates weakly. ; ) I have not received updates in about a month and woke up this morning to 9 updates, one for each subscribed thread that I have been following within that time. All nine updates were posted in my e-mail account at 3:31 am Eastern Standard Time.

Just a thought, Marcel.

The threads that you have subscribed to, may not be posted to on a regular basis. You may only get a weekly update once some one adds to that tread.

Could you check the dates of the last posts on those treads?

Nathan responded today and says if there is any delay in the delivery it is most likely with your Email provider. This makes sense because you are the only person who has reported this problem. It could also be as James suggested that the threads are not active?

Not likely because I also belong to other forums and whenever someone places a post on a subscribed thread from that site I immediately receive an alert from my E-mail account which in turn alerts my android smartphone within seconds.

My other forums provide updates immediately upon new postings. No weekly updates. If I want weekly updates I'll go back to snail mail.
