Sometime early this morning we reached 100,000 members. I just wanted to take a minute to thank each and every one of you for participating and making this the biggest, best woodworking site on the web. I especially want to thank all the volunteer staff of Moderators, Greeters and the member elected Forum Contributors for all the things they have done for the forums. As we move forward we will continue to bring you new product information, unbiased tool reviews and best of all feedback from other members world wide. When you participate we all benefit.

Wow! I had no idea we had that many members. I think it is a reflection of the amazing advice, exchange of ideas, and civility found here. Happy to be a member.

I am continuously amazed at how many want to join from so many countries around the globe, even when there are some language difficulties. And I don't just mean the UK and Oz when I say that.

Someone I consider a master woodworker once told me that a master woodworker is not someone who never makes mistakes. He is someone who is able to cover them up so that no one can tell.

I have to agree with Oliver the civility and calmness of the site means a whole lot.

Cool. Very good place to be.

Hey thatís a big deal. Maybe reward the 100,000 member with a special bit or something.

Congrats and a huge THANK YOU to all for their hard work. Although I do not contribute much, I really enjoy the contributions, banter and helpfulness of all the members.
One outstanding feature is the absolute lack of nastiness and vindiction of some members, that mars so many other sites.
Proud to be a member,
Ronald

Default Congratulations

Congratulations and thanks to all those who have come before and put in a lot of great volunteer work to make the forum what it is today. I have wondered about how it got started and the history of it.

I have to agree that the civility, respect, and gentle humor that is common here is a big draw to me, and makes it the only forum that I follow on a daily basis. Again, Thanks! Jim
