If everyone will remember, the forum was sold to new owners recently. You've also noticed quite a few other posts by Cricket about forum rules and policy as well as the announcement of the new Vendors sub forum. Cricket also asked the Mods to clean up the Sticky posts on the Homepage which Bill and Bernie did. All of the old rules were Mark Rosendahl's who started the forum. Mark has been gone for a while now.

I don't think Cricket posted what she did to warn anyone. The forum has been really well behaved lately. I think, my personal opinion here, is that this is the new owners announcing that these are their rules and policy now. You can't expect members to follow the rules if they don't know what they are. Hopefully no one feels singled out here. If you step over a line you can trust me when I say that a Mod will be contacting you about it. Otherwise you have nothing to worry about.

Someone I consider a master woodworker once told me that a master woodworker is not someone who never makes mistakes. He is someone who is able to cover them up so that no one can tell.
