Don't leave, Del. You have contributed much to the forum.

Ditto Del. You and Gene are two of the "old timers" that kept me coming back. I found the old format hard to use sometimes when I first joined. I hope the new format will work the same way. Give it a little time. Maybe it will get better.

Someone I consider a master woodworker once told me that a master woodworker is not someone who never makes mistakes. He is someone who is able to cover them up so that no one can tell.

Perhaps a bit more clicking and some learning but I find it far easier to read in the new format and that makes it all worthwhile.

I can navigate it with no issues now , just not liking the new look . Do you guys find it brighter in here or is it just me?

My post count is not very high so my opinion may not count for much, but I will express it anyway.

In a previous life, I was a network engineer/network administrator and dealt with upgrades of systems and software on a routine basis.
I understand the fact that users are unhappy with change and have a comfort level with things that are familiar. What I don't understand is the strong sentiment that would cause any member to quit this forum or any other for that matter.

Sometimes things just need to move forward - they don't deliver my milk or bread to my door any more and I have to go to a big box at the end of the street to fetch my mail - but I've adjusted.

Would anyone still like to communicate through an electronic bulletin board?

It takes a lot of work to maintain a forum and I think folks should be thankful that someone is willing to do the work behind the scenes so that individuals with common interests can share with each other and have a friendly forum to kibitz on a daily basis.

Hi Vince. EVERRYONE's opinion counts here. People just don't like change as a general rule. I didn't care for the look of the new forum, like Rick (RainMan1) I found it bright and difficult to read. A few setting changes, mainly selecting the "Classic View" and I find it much easier to read.

And bulletin boards ruled at the time!! I was a hub for several nets, but that's straying off topic here.

and the default font size was an 8 or 9 maybe even a 10 instead of the 6 that shows the site would be even easier to read...
