Default Home Page?

If this is a forum dedicated to woodworking routers, how come the home page has a picture of someone using a hand plane? Makes no sense to me.

This new look is wearing on me. I guess I am just old fashioned and hate change.

I do not see the point in having the new home page.

If you don't want to use it, simply save the forum page to your favorites.

Cricket, at best your advice is counter-intuitive. I don't want to use a page so I save it to favorites???
Surely I am missing something.

If you go to the "forum" Page...and save that to your favourites, when you click on that you will go to the forum page and not the Home page to log in....

That is what I was trying to say but apparently I didn't do a very good job of it.

OK, after some fiddling, got it. Save the opening page as a bookmark in the web browser. At first I thought there was some setting within the RouterForums page itself.
Cricket, I misunderstood your first response. I did not recognize that you assumed (correctly) that I wanted to have the "FORUMS" page come up immediately when I clicked the RouterForums bookmark. There may also be a language barrier; I speak Mac OS; "favorites" is a Windows term?

Sometimes it is tough to explain things in text. Funny thing is, I started to type "bookmark" but I was afraid that others likely knew it as "favorites" so I changed it.

All these changes on here are just a bunch of bs. Things were very nice before all these changes .i'm assuming that most members on here are older and also that most older people don't like change. I used to read the forum first thing every morning-now I don't. Often go days without reading it at all now. Put it back as it was.
