30 look up at the banner ...just below it you should see your name.

yes but Im talming about this: theres a big box below your post.. which is clearly where Im meant to type > then click reply, or send, or something obvious.. like POST QUICK REPLY it says clearly/ big just below the box. So I type > click this and -nothing/ reply goes awol.

Are you positive you're logged in each time? 'Cause if you aren't, nada.
The log-in thing is the single largest source of difficulties here (other than me I mean... )

Yes. Ive plenty of forum experience over many years.. but this site seems a struggle. Im always logged in before i try & post/ been so all day. But I go to the box below, type, click the button below "post quick reply" as I'll do now to post this.. but 3x the reply has gone awol after a good few lines typed. argh. I have to cut & paste each reply into a hotmail new page in order to save in case it goes awol.. quite exhausting.

Its over-complicated tbh: above me here is Quote > Multi quote > Quick reply.. then Reply, quick reply again (just above), then box, then another post quick reply! (erm "over-engineering" springs to mind). Ive no idea where the heck I am/ which Im meant to be clicking on each time so invariable i click the wrong one to 'send'.

It needs clarity & just simplifying. Just a box, then a reply button.

(so now where do I click Im thinking? reply? post quick reply? quick reply? I dunno.. so I have to cut the whole thing & save it in case I click wrong one).

forums stress me out. the ammount of damn info on just this page is too much for me in 2015. Boxes, boxes boxes of small type, columns of more info, profile edit this edit that, sections, sub-sections, sub-sections to that, do this do that wanna do this how about here, there and here's a box too, here's a button & another, fk it have 16 why not...

godalmighty gimme strength. Im exhausted and stressed before I even start!!

Pages like this need a -complete- overhaul they look so dated today: clarifying/ cleaning up/ simplifying. info OVERKILL. Then they wonder why we take it all out on cyclists peddling along in their stupid fkn outfits.

Someone. Strewth. Urgh..

It IS a new version! Only a few months old.
Just use 'Quick Reply' until you feel more comfortable.
If you go to the bottom, there's two options
1) 'Post Quick Reply' use that one
but, do try 'Go Advanced'
2) 'Go Advanced' opens the same msg. you've already typed in a different window with lots more toys to play with!
Try it; you'll like it!
