Here are a few more if you are interested.
Please note everyone: You cannot use a lacker on the part which comes in contact with the food. So I use the clear lacker on the frames and bees vax/paraffin oil stain on the actual cutting board that comes in contact with the food. Do not use vegetables (eatable) oils to make your stains mixture as they become rancid. Same goes for bowls intended for storing food.

Thanks, Herb. No sir, just picked through my stash to find suitable figure in the wood and let the mineral oil do its thing to bring out what was already there.
