Thumbs down Triton TR001 in a table

I have mounted this router in my Kreg table. I have had significant problems with it:
A: despite locking the plunge I find that the cutter height drifts up and down of its own accord
B: after a while the up down adjustment became difficult and eventually seized.
As the router is brand new I tried to contact triton for help - no reply
I took it to a machinery service company who disassembled it and told me that the turrets were jammed with dust and gum. He cleaned it out and I started routing again. After a short time the problems re-occurred.
I don't get the same problems with my smaller Triton mounted in the table.
Does anyone have similar experience and advice as to what I can do? It seems that the turret is not dust proof, which is crazy for a router that is touted as being ideal for table-mounting.
I am ready to throw a virtually brand new router into the rubbish!

Maybe your locking lever is not travelling enough...

Lock the lever, take out the center screw, pull the lever straight off, reposition it "one tooth off", press lever back on, see if it tightens more...

I agree with Nick but it also difficult operation of macro adjust handle can be from impacted saw dust.
Dismantling the Triton TRA001 3¼HP Router is a good reference for dismantling but read the whole thing before starting.
