Default Shaker Door Help

Need help please. I'm using a T/G set (Katana) and made my first test door
all was good except I'm getting paper thin material left when cutting the rails
I'm using a sled also any advise, other then that the door came out a little
out of square but that was my fault.

Thanks

HI williams94

This can come about when the bit needs to be shimmed or the stock is over the max size for the bit set, you should have some shim washers with the bit set..put one in the cutter with the bearing in the center..if you didn't get any extra shims you can use one out of one of your other bits...it will look like a very thin copper flat washer, it only takes one the norm..

then run some test parts and see how it comes out...

hi williams3, welcome to the forum. Take a moment and give us some news about yourself. This will move you back to the top so you might get some more attention. Although I gotta tell ya that it don't get much better than BobJ.
