Default newbe needs advice

I am about to get the rws table with three spacer fences. I have a skill 1825 duel base router. I am also getting series 1 dvd.

I want to learn how to make small boxes and small display cases. What bits will be good to start with ? I have a 12 piece set of shop source 1/4 bits. I know I will need some with 12 inch shank.

Please keep in mind I am totally new to routing and any help will be sincerely appreciated.

Hi oldfolks

I recommend you get the two items below, in the DVD Marc will show you how to made a raised panel for small boxes, that is 2" x 3" ,that's small , and the boxes are so neat looking... plus he will show you how to do it the safe so you keep all your fingers... you will watch the video over and over it's that good... you may want to just get the video at 1st. but I'm sure after you watch it you will be on line/phone getting the bit set..on the way...

The small set can do many jobs and well worth the money..
